9:00 AM – 5:30 PM A highly respected, full‑service law firm with a national presence is seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join its Orlando office. This role is ideal for a business development professional with law firm or professional‑services experience who is proactive, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, attorney‑facing environment. Position Overview

The

Business Development Specialist

will support firmwide strategic growth initiatives by developing pitches and proposals, conducting client and market research, supporting CRM tracking, coordinating business development activities, and helping convert visibility into new business and expanded client relationships. Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategic Support

Support execution of business development plans for practice groups and individual partners. Track prospects, target clients, and key industries within the firm’s CRM. Provide regular reporting and pipeline updates for BD leadership. Assist with initiatives aligned with firm growth objectives. Pitch, Proposal & RFP Management

Draft, prepare, and coordinate proposals, pitches, and RFP responses. Collaborate with attorneys to tailor submissions to client needs. Maintain updated pitch materials, bios, experience databases, and templates. Track pitch outcomes and support post‑pitch follow‑up. Conduct research on clients, industries, competitors, and market trends. Prepare briefing documents for partner meetings, pitches, and strategic opportunities. Work with the Marketing team to leverage campaigns, content, and firmwide collateral. Contribute to improvement of BD processes, templates, and tools. Assist with CRM data quality and adoption initiatives. Plan and support business development events. Manage ticket distribution for client entertainment and firm‑sponsored activities. Attend conferences and networking events on behalf of the firm and initiate follow‑up with contacts. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 4–6 years of business development, sales support, or professional services experience , preferably in a

law firm . Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Experience with marketing professional services and knowledge of attorney advertising rules. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred experience with

Canva

and/or

Adobe Creative Suite . Familiarity with SEO, website content, LinkedIn, social media marketing, and digital campaigns. Excellent grammar, spelling, and communication skills. Ability to analyze and interpret industry publications and business insights. Strong attention to detail and ability to present information clearly. Comfortable working directly with attorneys, clients, and internal teams. Highly organized with strong project‑management skills. Why Apply?
