Red Cottage | Remote or Hybrid (Northeast Preferred)

Red Cottage is seeking a Travel Sales Coordinator to help drive direct bookings and deliver a highly personalized guest experience across our curated portfolio of architecturally significant homes throughout the Catskills, Hudson Valley, Berkshires, Vermont, and beyond.

This role sits at the intersection of hospitality, sales, and brand. You will proactively engage prospective guests, nurture inbound inquiries, and convert interest into confirmed reservations, while serving as a trusted guide to guests seeking meaningful escapes from the city.

This is not a passive reservations role. You will play an active part in shaping the guest pipeline, building relationships, and helping grow Red Cottage’s direct booking channel.

Responsibilities Guest Outreach and Sales

Proactively engage prospective guests through email, phone, and messaging to convert inquiries into confirmed reservations

Respond to inbound inquiries with speed, thoughtfulness, and a strong sense of hospitality and brand voice

Guide guests toward homes that align with their needs, preferences, and travel intent

Follow up consistently with leads to maximize conversion and reduce booking friction

Support repeat guest engagement and help drive loyalty and retention

Revenue and Pipeline Development

Actively manage a pipeline of prospective guests and reservations

Identify opportunities to increase occupancy, fill shoulder nights, and maximize revenue

Assist in promoting new properties, seasonal opportunities, and underutilized inventory

Support outbound campaigns targeting past guests, prospective travelers, and curated audiences

Guest Experience and Brand Stewardship

Serve as a knowledgeable and trusted point of contact for guests prior to booking

Communicate clearly, professionally, and warmly in a manner consistent with Red Cottage’s brand

Build rapport with guests and create a seamless and high-touch booking experience

Maintain detailed and organized records of guest interactions and booking status

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with the Guest Experience, Revenue, and Marketing teams to align on availability, priorities, and campaigns

Provide feedback on guest trends, objections, and booking patterns

Help refine messaging, sales processes, and outreach strategies over time

Ideal Candidate You are a natural communicator who enjoys connecting with people and helping them plan meaningful travel. You are proactive, organized, and energized by the opportunity to drive tangible results.

You likely have experience in one or more of the following:

Hospitality reservations, concierge, or front office roles

Hotel or travel sales

Vacation rental or property management

Customer success, client services, or inside sales

You are:

Exceptionally responsive and detail-oriented

Comfortable communicating via phone, email, and messaging

Organized and able to manage multiple guest conversations simultaneously

Motivated by goals and performance

Aligned with Red Cottage’s aesthetic and design-forward brand

Interested in travel, architecture, and meaningful places
