We are hiring a

Business Development Manager

with strong tile and stone experience, preferably in the SW Florida market, to drive growth through strategic GC relationships, disciplined opportunity selection, and preconstruction leadership in the Southwest Florida market.

Technical tile estimating experience is preferred. Business development ownership is expected.

Role Overview This position combines:

Business development

Preconstruction leadership

GC relationship management

Tile and stone estimating oversight

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with general contractors while leading the pricing and preconstruction process for tile and stone scopes.

This is a revenue-impact role.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors and builders in SWFL

Identify and qualify new project opportunities

Lead preconstruction meetings and proposal development

Oversee preparation of detailed tile and stone estimates

Perform scope review, risk identification, and constructability analysis

Support proposal presentations and bid clarification meetings

Evaluate margin, schedule, and risk before pursuing projects

Collaborate with field teams to ensure alignment between pricing and execution

Contribute to long-term client retention and repeat business

Business Development Focus This Role Includes

Proactive relationship building

Opportunity sourcing and qualification

Pipeline awareness and project selection strategy

Participation in client meetings and industry networking

Supporting repeat business growth

Required Background

5+ years of construction estimating or preconstruction experience

Tile and stone project experience

Direct experience working with general contractors

Comfortable leading client-facing discussions

Strong understanding of scope development and pricing strategy

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
