About The Position As an HVAC Foreman at Dave Jones, you will take on a leadership role on the job site, overseeing HVAC installs on Residential Projects. You'll be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team, ensuring high‑quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive work environment and maintaining effective communication among team members and clients.
Compensation Details
$34 to 40 per hour + 1.5x OT
PTO + Sick Days + Paid Holidays
Company Truck + Fuel Card
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day‑to‑day operations of HVAC roughins, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards
Lead a team of technicians and apprentices, providing hands‑on training and guidance to ensure compliance with industry best practices
Install new furnaces, air conditioners, duct work, line‑sets, coils, exhausts, etc.
Coordinate materials and equipment delivery, maintaining an organized and efficient job site
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that may arise
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements
3+ years of experience in the HVAC field, including previous supervisory experience
Journeyman HVAC Preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and relevant codes
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
