Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing electronics manufacturer in the Cedar Park area to hire a detail-oriented
Document Specialist . This position supports production, engineering, and quality teams by ensuring technical and process documentation is accurate, organized, and compliant with internal standards.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 4:00pm
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and product‑related materials
Convert technical specifications into clear, easy‑to‑follow documentation for production use
Manage document revisions, approvals, and version control within a quality system
Ensure documents meet company standards and compliance requirements
Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to gather and verify information
Remove outdated documents and maintain proper archiving procedures
Support new product introduction (NPI) documentation needs
Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
Participate in safety and quality programs
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
2+ years of experience in document control, technical writing, or manufacturing documentation
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications (electrical knowledge is a plus)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Comfortable working independently and within cross‑functional teams
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI)
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Background in electronics or electro‑mechanical assembly
