Summary The ideal candidate will have expertise in structuring and executing syndicated loan transactions, with an ability to navigate complex financing structures and build strong relationships with various stakeholders. This role is crucial in delivering tailored solutions that drive successful outcomes for our clients in the commercial lending space.
Responsibilities
Client Support: Assist in managing relationships with institutional clients, providing exceptional service, and addressing their needs and inquiries
Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis and research to support commercial transactions and provide insights to clients
Transaction Execution: Support the execution of syndicated loan transactions. Contribute to the review and preparation of syndicated loan documentation and participation agreements
Administration: Support market operations in the administration of sold loans, facilitating effective communication between loan officers and participants
Financial Analysis: Prepare detailed financial models, valuations, and presentations to assist in the evaluation and execution of transactions
Documentation: Assist in the preparation of transaction documentation, including term sheets and loan proposals
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal, credit administration, and operations, to facilitate smooth transaction execution
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders through regular communication and engagement
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of market transactions, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in loan syndications, capital markets, commercial banking, or a related financial services role
Strong proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation techniques
Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and concisely
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
