Location This role requires associates to be in‑office 1–2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work‑life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Epic Interface Analyst (Systems Analyst Senior Advisor) The Epic Interface Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the Epic system. Epic interface analysts are the primary contacts for implementing and supporting assigned interfaces: they coordinate analysis sessions, create technical designs, triage and resolve interface errors, and coordinate testing, cutover, and go‑live activities while partnering with application teams, vendors, and technical teams.

How You Will Make An Impact

Own interface workqueues, build workqueue logic, and partner with application analysts to develop error steps and resolve impacts.

Define functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements of a system.

Create and perform feature testing and determine environmental needs.

Act as a link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.

Partner with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversee all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.

Maintain in‑depth knowledge of tools utilized.

Define detail design components with high‑level architecture blueprints.

Coordinate integration activities to ensure successful implementation.

Ensure effective monitoring of systems.

Define development strategy, standards and support tools.

Proactively work with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years of experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences

Epic Bridges Interface Certification strongly preferred.

Experience with Mirth strongly recommended.

Experience with Rational tools, Six Sigma or other process‑improvement training strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $129,272 to $202,722.

Salary and Benefits Location(s): Cerritos, CA; Denver, CO. In addition to base salary, Elevance Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase plan and 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility requirements).
