The Lead Carpenter is directly responsible for the efficient, cost-effective operation of jobsites to create a great experience for clients. This includes directly communicating with clients and subcontractors; creating and maintaining records; managing the jobsite culture and setting an example of company values; performing a variety of advanced carpentry tasks; and training and managing crew members. Excellent organization skills and quick thinking make the Lead Carpenter an invaluable member of the Client Services Team. Required Skills

General computer use, Microsoft Office Proven experience performing general and detailed carpentry tasks Leadership and training Client communication Troubleshooting and problem solving Equipment and power tool operation Safety systems Tasks and Responsibilities

Set an example of professionalism and positive attitude Set the pace for the jobsite and maintain efficient production Maintain cleanliness of site, crew, and subcontractors Communicate effectively and positively with crew, subcontractors, and clients Be courteous and mindful of the clients' property Coordinate with Construction Manager and Project Manager to plan workflow Help to approve and follow project schedule Determine tools and materials needed each day Plan daily tasks for self and other carpenters Ensure site is prepared for subcontractors and assist them as needed Perform a variety of rough and finish carpentry as project requires Control jobsite binder Complete and track daily reports Ensure all jobsite documents and plans are present and up to date Communicate between clients, Construction Manager, and Project Manager Maintain progress photos Keep records of materials, accidents, and damages Possess a thorough understanding of company safety protocols Be well versed in action plans in the event of a disaster or injury Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite Hold other employees and subcontractors to safety standards Regularly inspect tools and equipment for proper and safe function Benefits: Flexible schedules, PTO, paid vacation and holidays, Employer match IRA, Bonus programs, Paid training, Employee recruitment bonus, and perfect attendance incentive.
