Job Title: Entry Level Packager - Level 1
Job Description
As a Packager, you will be responsible for selecting and wrapping products in protective materials, boxing, crating, palletizing, and stretch-wrapping products for shipment. You will operate basic power and hand tools, inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications, and monitor and maintain product quality. Additionally, you will read production paperwork and diagrams and perform testing of parts and mechanisms as required.
Responsibilities
Select and wrap products in protective materials.
Box, crate, palletize, and stretch-wrap products for shipment.
Operate basic power and hand tools.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and follow specifications and work instructions.
Willingness to learn packaging and metalworking processes.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in hot and cold manufacturing environments.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and sit for extended periods.

Work Environment
The work environment is family-oriented, with a focus on custom projects where you will frequently change tasks throughout the day. The company is organized, clean, and follows 5S and continuous improvement guidelines. You will work alongside a team of five people on the first shift, Monday to Thursday, from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime up to 5:30 PM as needed. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, PPE (provided by the company), and jeans. You may wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt, provided it does not have profanity.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
