
Senior Tax Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional with at least 3 years of experiencepreferably in public accountingwho communicates effectively and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. You will prepare and review tax returns, conduct technical tax research, support consulting projects, assist with ASC 740 tax provisions, and help mentor junior staff while managing multiple engagements. This is a full-time role available for immediate hire. Based in our confidential client's Denver, Colorado office. This position offers the opportunity to work with a strong portfolio of manufacturing and distribution clients while expanding your tax expertise and contributing to a collaborative international practice. You'll join a proactive, supportive team that values communication, accuracy, development, and high-quality client service. Salary range is $75,000$90,000/year, depending on skills, experience, and location. The Senior Tax Associate will manage diverse tax compliance projects, prepare Federal and state filings, support consulting engagements, guide junior staff, and maintain strong client communication to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Key responsibilities include: Prepare Federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns. Perform technical tax research on Federal, state, and international matters. Conduct tax consulting projects such as nexus studies and permanent establishment analyses. Assist with the preparation of ASC 740 income tax provisions. Deliver high-quality services that exceed client expectations. Maintain proactive communication with clients to manage expectations. Prepare clear, concise workpapers and supporting documentation. Delegate effectively by setting goals, allocating resources, and removing obstacles. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff. Collaborate with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development efforts. Required skills and experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in public accounting. BA/BS in Accounting or Master's in Accounting/Taxation. Excellent English communication, writing, and research skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-driven mindset. Effective multitasking and organizational skills. Positive, teamwork-oriented attitude. Preferred skills and experience: CPA license or similar certification (preferred, not required). German language skills a plus.
