Senior Tax Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional with 4+ years of federal and state income tax experienceideally within public accountingwho thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. You will prepare and review tax returns, support ASC 740 tax provisions, conduct technical tax research, manage multiple engagements, mentor staff, and serve as a key point of contact for international inbound clients. This is a full-time position available for immediate hire. Based in our confidential client's Philadelphia, PA office. The Senior Tax Associate will manage complex tax engagements, prepare and review corporate and partnership filings, perform technical research, maintain client relationships, and support staff development while serving international manufacturing and distribution clients. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing federal and state corporate and partnership tax returns, assisting with ASC 740 income tax provisions, acting as a client point of contact, managing multiple engagements, performing technical tax research, staying informed on tax law changes, and providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff and interns. Qualifications include a minimum of 4 years of federal and state income tax experience, including public accounting, a BA/BS in Accounting or Master's in Accounting/Taxation, experience with manufacturing and distribution clients, CCH Axcess tax experience, excellent English writing, research, and communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, strong organizational skills, and demonstrated responsibility, ownership, and teamwork. Preferred qualifications include a strong corporate tax compliance and tax provision background, CPA license or similar certification, and ProSystem fx Engagement experience.
