Marketing & Events Specialist
Piper Companies is seeking a Marketing & Events Specialist to support digital marketing execution, campaign reporting, and event coordination for a leading global technology organization. The Marketing & Events Specialist will serve as a cross-functional partner across emerging talent, early-career, and social impact programs. This role combines digital marketing support with hands-on assistance for both virtual and in-person events. This is a hybrid contract opportunity based in San Jose, CA with approximately 30% travel. Responsibilities for the Marketing & Events Specialist include: Supporting paid social media campaigns through setup, execution, monitoring, and performance tracking. Interpreting marketing metrics, dashboards, and campaign performance data to produce accurate reports and actionable readouts. Assisting with digital advertising efforts, including channel strategy, creative recommendations, and audience engagement ideas. Supporting a wide range of events including recruiting events, early-career programs, 3P sponsorships, assessment centers, offsites, social impact programs, and internal experiences. Providing onsite support for intern events in San Jose and occasionally RTP, as well as virtual intern experiences. Collaborating with cross-functional partners across emerging talent, early-career, and social impact teams to ensure aligned execution. Qualifications for the Marketing & Events Specialist include: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (internships or equivalent experience welcome). 0-2 years of marketing experience preferred; event experience a plus but not required. Familiarity with paid social platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, or similar advertising tools. Ability to interpret performance metrics and produce clear, accurate reporting summaries. Understanding of digital advertising concepts, placement strategies, and cross-channel marketing. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams. Ability to travel approximately 30% as needed for event support. Compensation for the Market & Events Specialist Includes: Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, and sick leave as required by law.
