We're Hiring: Sales Account Executive | Los Angeles, CA
Nutrient Innovations is looking for a consultative, relationship-driven Sales Account Executive to join our team in Los Angeles.
For more than 20 years, we've worked alongside supplement brands and contract manufacturers as a true partner — not just another ingredient supplier. Our role is to help customers navigate the complexity of ingredient sourcing with clarity and confidence, expanding access to high-quality raw materials and supporting the informed decisions that lead to better products.
About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site position at our Los Angeles headquarters. You'll be at the center of our client relationships — managing accounts, generating new leads, and serving as a trusted advisor to brands and contract manufacturers as they work through sourcing, formulation, and supply chain decisions. You'll also help coordinate our customer service team to ensure every client request is handled with the care and responsiveness we're known for.
What You'll Do
• Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, serving as their primary point of contact
• Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients evaluate ingredient options across price points, specifications, and formulation needs
• Follow up on quote, sample, and documentation requests in a timely and professional manner
• Generate new leads and proactively identify opportunities to expand business
• Coordinate the customer service team to ensure all client requests are handled efficiently
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to drive client satisfaction and revenue growth
• Stay current on industry trends, formulation insights, and market dynamics
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in account management and lead generation
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills — you listen carefully and offer solutions grounded in the client's real constraints
• A customer-first mindset with a track record of maintaining long-term client satisfaction
• Ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience in the nutrition supplement or natural products industry is a plus — as is a background in adjacent fields such as fitness, logistics, or pharmaceuticals
Compensation:
$60k+ base plus commission/bonuses or commensurate to career experience.
