Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Responsibilities:

Provides support to management and business functional areas in planning for business interruptions. Performs business impact analysis (BIA), application impact analysis (AIA) and facility-based risk analysis according to established practices. Collaborates with departmental leadership and other stakeholders to identify critical business functions and develop strategies. Uses a business continuity management software to create reports for all levels of the organization. Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, manuals, and other documentation. Essential Functions

Performs business impact analysis (BIA), application impact analysis (AIA), and facility-based risk analysis according to established business continuity risk management practices. Facilitates in-person workshops with departmental leadership and other stakeholders to process map critical business functions, normal business processes, workflows, recovery, downtime, processes, and strategies. Completes gap analysis and process improvement related to program requirements. Delivers business continuity management education and awareness to staff, ensuring labor pool resiliency. Documents and translates workshop and various analysis information. Creates meaningful reports for use across all levels of the enterprise. Acts as application administrator for business continuity application tool. Serves as escalation point for Help Desk Support and point of contact for vendor maintenance. May supervise junior staff and/or interns as teams grows. Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and other documentation. Maintains related documentation for business continuity application tool, including application manual, end user manual, and University IT Knowledge Base. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related discipline and 4 years of business continuity experience required Or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, Joint Commission and other regulatory and accrediting business continuity controls relevant to UR and URMC and affiliates required Licenses and Certifications
