Coordinator, Employee & Labor Relations

The Coordinator, Employee & Labor Relations supports the College's employee and labor relations function by assisting with investigations, policy application, contract administration, and day-to-day departmental operations. This role serves as a key partner to leadership by researching and analyzing employee relations matters, ensuring consistent application of policies and labor agreements, and supporting continuous improvement of labor relations processes. The Coordinator contributes to a positive, compliant, and equitable workplace environment through collaboration, data tracking, and effective communication. Essential functions include coordinating and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Employee Labor Relations department, utilizing case management systems to track cases, providing administrative support, assisting with investigations, collaborating with management, working collaboratively with colleagues, building relationships with employees and union representatives, participating in the delivery of direct client service, monitoring outcomes and trends, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining confidential correspondence, answering phones and screening calls, establishing and maintaining office documents, assisting with preparation of reports and publications, and performing other duties as assigned. Required qualifications include an associate degree and a minimum of three years of experience in a professional office environment, or a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work accurately with great attention to detail. Competencies include service focus, communications, quality of work, collaboration, adaptability, time utilization, and continuous improvement.
