BJD is a men’s clothing wholesaler. We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven
Senior Sales Executive
to expand our brand’s distribution across major department stores, off specialty retailers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of navigating the complex buying offices of national giants like
TJX, BJ’s Wholesale, Costco, Nordstrom, Macy’s,
while simultaneously nurturing a network of independent boutiques. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Account Acquisition Target Major Retailers:
Spearhead the outreach and "opening" process for key national accounts, specifically
TJX, BJ’s Wholesale, Costco, Nordstrom, Macy’s Sales Presentation and Analysis:
Develop and deliver compelling lines that align our brand’s aesthetic with the retailer’s specific demographic, along with forecasting adequate inventory requirements to maximize revenue Specialty Store Growth:
Identify and secure partnerships with top-tier specialty stores and regional chains to ensure a diverse and healthy distribution mix. 2. Sales Strategy & Execution Showroom Management:
Manage buyers in-person to present and sell new product Field Sales & Travel:
Travel to regional territories to meet buyers in person. You must be comfortable transporting and managing physical samples Assortment Planning:
Collaborate with buyers to build curated assortments that maximize sell-through and meet open to buy requirements 3. Relationship & Account Management Department Store Navigation:
Build deep relationships with DMMs (Divisional Merchandise Managers) and Buyers to ensure our brand remains a priority within their portfolio. Performance Analysis:
Regularly review sales data and weekly sell-through reports to identify re-order opportunities or the need for strategic pivots. Qualifications Experience:
15+ years in wholesale fashion sales, with a documented history of opening and managing department store accounts. Network:
An existing contact list within the buying offices of Nordstrom, Macy’s, TJX is required
