Sr. Retail Loan Post-Closing Specialist

The Sr. Retail Loan Post-Closing Specialist is an experienced-level position responsible for accurately setting up and onboarding newly funded complex residential loans and consumer loans into the core system. This role ensures that all loan data, documentation, and collateral are complete, accurate, and compliant with investor, regulatory, and company requirements. This position demonstrates in-depth knowledge of loan setups within the core system and is also responsible for being proficient in servicing residential and consumer loans in the core system. Essential Functions

Review complex new loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to boarding. Input and validate loan data in the core system, ensuring all terms and conditions are correctly reflected. Verify and reconcile key documents (notes, mortgages, riders, insurance flood certifications etc). Ensure escrow accounts, payment schedules, and interest calculations are setup correctly. Identify and resolve discrepancies, missing information or errors in loan documentation. Collaborate with the loan servicing team to communicate outstanding issues. Monitor and track loan boarding pipelines to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and investor timelines. Assist with audits, regulatory reviews and quality control testing related to loan boarding. Process residential mortgage modification requests and residential construction loan advances. Process complex retail loan operation service tickets within SLA time frames. Complete account maintenance requests on consumer and residential loans. Create batch entries for new loans; fees; payments; reversals and second day entries. Process payment exceptions and loan payoffs. Completes miscellaneous maintenance in the core system that may be required. Performs such other duties as may be required by the position. Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. 4-6 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of retail loan documentation, loan systems, and compliance and investor requirements. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively prioritize workload. Detail-oriented with excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Proficient understanding of banking principles, documentation, services and operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Proficient in the operation of specific computer applications approved for assigned role. Thorough knowledge of bank lending products, services and lending policy. Competencies

This job operates in a professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, mouse, keyboard, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculator, and fax machines. Due to physical location of this position, phone ringing, and people conversing, it may be difficult to hear at times and therefore easily distracting. Physical Demands

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Flexibility of schedule to meet business needs is required. Travel

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance. Benefits
