Executive Director
Position Summary
The Executive Director provides overall leadership and management for the South Florida District Dental Association (SFDDA). This role is responsible for implementing the organization’s mission and executing the strategic and operational plans approved by the Executive Council , including oversight of financial operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct and manage daily operations of the SFDDA
- Implement the mission, goals, and strategic direction set by the Executive Council
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and financial reporting
- Ensure fiscal responsibility and long-term financial stability
- Prepare and present operational and financial reports to the Executive Council
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Executive Council , members, and external partners
- Provide leadership and administrative oversight to support organizational effectiveness
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to the Executive Council

Qualifications
- Proven leadership and organizational management experience
- Strong financial and operational management skills
- Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making abilities
- Experience with nonprofit or professional associations preferred
