✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Regional Compliance Director at our San Pasqual Academy site in Escondido, CA. ✨

Location: San Pasqual Academy, Escondido, CA

Required qualifications: Law degree.

Responsibilities

  • The Regional Compliance Director will be responsible for conducting audits, monitoring, and risk assessments across all facilities within the AR/TN District to ensure adherence to licensing requirements, state regulations, and critical compliance standards, including PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) and CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to mitigate compliance vulnerabilities, provide technical assistance, and develop and implement corrective action plans as needed to maintain compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Serve as a key member of the Management team to ensure success across all sites.

What you will need to be considered

  • Law degree or legal secretary background.
  • Extensive knowledge of CARF and PREA regulations.
  • Prior experience working with juvenile placement agencies.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB tests.
  • Ability to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Travel

This job will require travel to California and Nevada. Must be willing to travel.

Pay and Benefits

Pay: starting at $90,000 a year based on level of education and experience.
