Overview

Field Operations Manager – Commercial Roofing
Pay: $100,000–$125,000 + bonus • Location: Dallas, TX • Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise field personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and quality roof system installations
  • Support and mentor foremen with crew leadership, training, and performance feedback
  • Conduct daily job site visits and safety audits
  • Ensure crews have all information, materials, and instructions required to complete work
  • Track labor hours, production, and job progress against project goals
  • Schedule materials, equipment, and deliveries while minimizing waste and inventory shortages
  • Review job documentation and final paperwork to ensure change orders are properly reflected and billed
  • Coordinate job details between field and office teams, including pre-job planning and site-specific safety plans
  • Participate in manufacturer inspections and warranty closeouts
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, accidents, and thefts; provide documentation and reporting to the office
  • Engage with customers regularly to provide updates, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Required: Commercial roofing Superintendent or Field Operations experience
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, and budgeting
  • Solid math skills related to roofing production and material usage
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated leader with strong decision-making abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
