Senior Manager, Vision Care Strategy

Summary of Position
Alcon is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Vision Care Strategy to join our Global Strategy and Operations Team in Fort Worth, TX. You will be responsible for supporting the Global Vision Care Franchise with key strategic projects, developing recommendations with a data‑driven approach and providing guidance to the organization around decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads strategic projects, problem‑solves with and counsels leaders and provides guidance to the organization around problem structuring, action planning and recommendation synthesis.
- Provides analytical insights into the annual planning process, taking into account competitor gap analysis, market predictions, financial plans, as well as pipeline information and current product lifecycle positions.
- Partners with Global Product Directors to craft or refine product category strategies and to communicate strategic roadmaps to ELT/Board of Directors, facilitating alignment on key issues and opportunities.
- Provides thought leadership to problem‑solve with the Global Franchise team on strategic topics by developing insights on business growth opportunities, sales execution, and performance.
- Supports development of new product ideation funnel with GB&I PMO leads.
- Conducts opportunity assessments related to whitespace.
- Develops and tracks key success metrics for the Franchise.
- Partners with analytics teams to define business requirements, crafting dashboards and surfacing the right data through appropriate techniques.
Key Requirements / Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school + 15 yrs; associate + 11 yrs; MS + 4 yrs; PhD + 3 yrs).
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate fluently in English.
- 7 years of relevant experience.
- Work hours: 40 hours.
- Travel requirements: up to 10% domestic and international.

Preferred Requirements
- 2‑3 years proven experience with one of the Big 3 consulting firms.
