Client Director (Telecommunications) - Business Development / GTM

If you thrive in the world of enterprise tech and know how to sell into fast-moving, complex sectors, this is a role where you can make a serious impact. You'll be leading strategic growth across the US telecoms space — helping a global consultancy deepen relationships and win new business with major industry players.

• Location: US (New York / Hybrid)
• Industry: Technology Consulting – Telecommunications focus

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing and growing strategic accounts within the telecoms sector
• Leading business development across US telco enterprises — from first contact to signed deal
• Applying a consultative sales approach to complex IT and software development services
• Collaborating with technical delivery teams to align solutions with client challenges
• Taking charge of pipeline strategy, forecasting, and sales performance
• Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
• Working cross-functionally with marketing to generate and nurture qualified leads
• Acting as a trusted partner to C-level execs and decision-makers in the telco space

Main Skills Needed:

• Proven track record selling IT services into the telecommunications industry
• Strong understanding of enterprise software, digital platforms, and tech consulting
• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and navigating complex sales cycles
• Experience working with large US-based telco businesses — international exposure is a plus
• Commercially minded with a proactive, self-driven approach
• Able to operate confidently in fast-paced, multicultural business environments
