Project General Manager – Look & Signage | Global Sports Event

This is your chance to play a leading role in one of the biggest sporting events on the planet. Working behind the scenes on this Global Sports Event, you’ll take charge of the visual identity — from venue signage to wayfinding — helping shape how millions of fans experience the tournament.

Role Overview:

• Location: Charlotte
• Package: Competitive
• Industry: Live Events / Global Sport

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the end-to-end strategy, planning and delivery of all signage, wayfinding and branding across multiple high-profile venues
• Overseeing day-to-day operations — managing crews, logistics, equipment, and on-site installs
• Acting as the key liaison between internal teams, Project stakeholders, and third-party vendors
• Collaborating with designers and creative agencies to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints
• Managing multiple teams including Design, Wayfinding, Dressing, and Operations
• Overseeing installation timelines, artwork approvals, and final execution across both competition and non-competition venues
• Ensuring everything runs to plan — from venue readiness to post-event debriefs
• Driving process improvements, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with the brand standards.

Main Skills Needed:

• Solid experience leading projects for large-scale global events — ideally 5+ years in live sport or entertainment
• Proven ability to manage design, production, and installation of signage and branding at scale
• Comfortable running operations teams — including crew deployment, transport logistics, and on-site troubleshooting
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills
• Exceptionally organised with sharp attention to detail and a strategic mindset
• Confident working under pressure and juggling competing priorities
