Managing Director

AsBuilt, Atlanta, GA, United States

AssetBridge Group is seeking a Managing Director to own executive-level account leadership and delivery performance across 5–10 major power/manufacturing-industry clients. You are the single-threaded owner of account outcomes—delivery governance, safety and quality execution, stakeholder alignment, escalations, and financial performance—ensuring successful implementation and adoption of a 3D visual operations & maintenance (O&M) platform in complex plant environments.

What You’ll Do

Executive Account Leadership (5–10 major clients)

  • Serve as executive sponsor and primary escalation point for strategic utility/power-generation & manufacturing accounts.
  • Establish and run account governance: delivery health reviews, risk/issue management, and executive business reviews.
  • Build relationships across Plant Leadership, Maintenance/O&M, Outage Planning, EHS, Engineering, IT/OT, and Cyber.

Delivery Ownership and Team Leadership

  • Lead and align cross-functional execution across the account delivery org:
  • Director of Delivery (delivery standards, capacity planning, margin protection)
  • Program/Project Management (scope, schedule, dependencies, risk/change control)
  • Field Teams / Field Techs (site readiness, capture execution, safety compliance)
  • QA Analyst (validation, exception resolution, acceptance readiness)
  • Customer Success Manager (adoption, value realization, renewals/expansion)
  • Ensure predictable delivery from kickoff → scan/capture coordination → tagging/structuring → QA/validation → launch and handoff.

Commercial Accountability

  • Own account P&L performance (revenue, margin, change orders, expansion).
  • Approve major scope changes and ensure disciplined change control to protect schedule and profitability.
  • Drive expansion roadmaps within accounts (additional sites/units, deeper workflows, broader user groups).

Power-Plant Implementation Excellence

  • Lead delivery planning around power-industry constraints: site access, outage windows, critical path coordination, and EHS requirements.
  • Ensure delivery decisions align with operational realities—minimizing disruption while maximizing adoption and value.

Technical & Environment Requirements (add to posting)

  • Ability to support enterprise rollout of a 3D/digital-twin O&M platform used across modern browsers; JavaScript-enabled with support for Edge, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari (Mac).
  • Comfort leading client adoption of a platform that can incorporate remote collaboration/video meetings inside a 3D environment (endpoint readiness, user enablement, and stakeholder coordination).
  • Experience coordinating integration expectations for O&M contexts, including work processes, asset information, and (where applicable) IIoT/live data layers.
  • Familiarity managing dependencies in a scanning ecosystem that leverages Matterport APIs/SDKs and structured implementation inputs (where to scan, what to tag, how to train).

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years leading services delivery, client success, or operations/program leadership in asset-intensive industries (power/utility strongly preferred).
  • Proven ownership of multiple major accounts with executive-level stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated accountability for delivery performance and commercial outcomes (margin, change control, renewals/expansion).
  • Strong safety mindset and experience operating within strict site access/EHS requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with outage planning environments and coordination across plant maintenance and reliability teams.
  • Familiarity with EAM/CMMS concepts and operational data governance.
  • Experience scaling implementations from pilot to multi-site or fleet rollout.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent delivery governance and predictable execution across 5–10 major accounts.
  • High client trust: issues handled early, escalations resolved quickly, stakeholders aligned.
  • Strong adoption and measurable operational impact in power-plant environments.
  • Expansion pipeline driven by delivered value and standardized rollout playbooks.
