Role Overview
Cambrian Bioworks is seeking a motivated intern to support the rollout of our "Eva" platform. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role designed for a self‑starter who is comfortable with technology and interacting with research and medical professionals. The primary focus of this position is to generate interest and demonstrate the capabilities of Eva to pathologists (both in academia and industry) within a local territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Outreach & Scheduling: Proactively reach out to local pathology groups and laboratories to generate interest and set up in‑person demonstration meetings.
- Product Demonstrations: Travel to client sites to conduct professional demonstrations of the Eva system using company‑provided tablets.
- Training: Undergo comprehensive paid training on the Eva ecosystem and tablet interface to become a subject‑matter expert prior to field work.
- Feedback: Collect feedback from pathologists during demos and report back to the internal team to help improve sales strategies and product development.
Requirements
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to research and medical professionals.
- Transportation: Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. The role requires driving to various client sites (typically within a 100‑mile radius).
- Background: Majors in Life Sciences, Business, Pre‑Med, or related fields are preferred but not required.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using tablets and learning new software quickly.
Compensation & Logistics
- Hourly Rate: $30 per hour.
- Hours: Flexible schedule ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability and demand.
- Travel Reimbursement: Mileage for business travel will be reimbursed at the standard company rate.
- Equipment: A tablet and necessary demo equipment will be provided.
- Training: All initial training sessions are mandatory and will be treated as billable hours.
