IoT Business Leader, Culligan Connected Solutions
The IoT Business Leader will lead the strategy, commercialization, and operational execution of Culligan’s Connected Water initiatives. This role is responsible for driving digital transformation across Culligan’s global network by harnessing IoT, data analytics, and connected product ecosystems to enhance customer experience, service efficiency, and recurring revenue growth.
As the champion of Culligan’s IoT Platform, this leader will bridge technology, product, and business strategy—turning connected devices and data into differentiated service offerings and new business models that strengthen Culligan’s leadership in sustainable water solutions.
Specific Job Function
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead Culligan’s IoT business vision, aligning with the company’s global strategy to deliver cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable water experiences.
- Develop multi-year roadmaps for connected water products, mobile applications, and data services.
- Translate IoT technology and customer insights into tangible business outcomes, including enhanced service operations and recurring subscription revenue.
Business Growth & Commercialization
- Drive the go-to-market strategy for Culligan’s connected water offerings, including smart filtration systems, sensors, and digital service platforms.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Dealer Networks to expand adoption of connected solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
- Build new revenue streams through data-driven service models, predictive maintenance, and connected subscriptions.
- Negotiate and manage key technology partnerships in connectivity, cloud, analytics, and customer experience.
Platform & Operations Execution
- Oversee the end-to-end performance of Culligan’s IoT Platform—device connectivity, cloud infrastructure, data integrity, and user experience.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize service routes, predictive maintenance, and device uptime using real-time telemetry.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and water safety standards across all connected product lines.
Financial & Performance Management
- Own IoT business unit P&L, delivering on revenue, margin, and customer adoption targets.
- Establish KPIs for connected customer engagement, system uptime, and lifetime value.
- Report performance insights and growth opportunities to executive leadership and the Board.
Leadership & Culture
- Lead and mentor a high-performing IoT team across product management, data science, and platform operations.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and data-driven decision-making.
- Serve as Culligan’s external ambassador for Connected Water—participating in industry events and thought leadership forums.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in IoT business leadership, digital product management, or platform commercialization
- Deep understanding of IoT architectures (hardware, connectivity, cloud, analytics)
- Strong business acumen with a track record of turning digital capability into commercial growth
- Proven success scaling connected product ecosystems, ideally in water, utilities, home technology, or industrial sectors
- Experience leading global initiatives across complex stakeholder networks (dealers, OEMs, service providers)
- Expertise in subscription models, recurring revenue strategies, and digital customer engagement
Preferred Experiences
- Experience with connected consumer or industrial systems in water treatment, smart home, or energy management
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS IoT Core), data analytics, and machine learning for predictive service
- Proven ability to lead digital transformation initiatives across both direct and dealer-based business models
Target Salary Range: $170,000–$200,000 per year. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
