Position
Title: Senior Manager, DevOps
Position Type: Permanent, full time
Location: Atlanta, GA (2 days/week onsite)
Our Atlanta client is looking for a Senior Manager of DevOps to drive team performance, operational excellence, and collaboration across IT, development, and product teams while providing technical guidance to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code templates and pipelines using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Work with observability platforms.
- Use Azure foundational services and configure infrastructure as code.
- Previous experience in a management role; operating 60% management, 40% hands‑on.
- Architect, implement, and maintain container orchestration solutions leveraging Kubernetes at scale.
- Design and manage asynchronous messaging architectures using ActiveMQ or similar message brokers.
- Build and optimize observability solutions including monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for cloud‑native environments.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure on Azure with best practices for security, networking, and resource management.
- Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous improvement of deployment pipelines and platform architecture.
