Orbition Group are delighted to be working with a world class, fortune 500 organisation, who are one of the most respected and iconic industrial companies in the world.

We are seeking an Associate Director of Data & AI Governance to build, and scale a unified governance framework that ensures their Data and AI practices are ethical, compliant, secure and primed for business impact!

What will you be doing?

• Develop and execute an enterprise wide, data & AI governance framework, including policies and standards
• Define the roadmap for data quality, MDM, metadata, and lineage to enable AI readiness
• Lead the Responsible AI program, overseeing ethics and transparency
• Oversee AI/ML model risk assessments and ensure global compliance with evolving AI and data regulations
• Drive literacy in data ownership and responsible AI
• Select and deploy modern governance tooling

What you will need to be successful?

• Deep expertise in governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, CDMC, DCAM)
• Strong understanding of AI/ML model lifecycle and governance challenges
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and governance platforms (Collibra, Alation, Atlan etc.)
• Experience with AI/GenAI governance and model risk management frameworks
• Exceptional communication and proven change management experience
