Medical Director for Medical Spa

Overview

I’m a California Registered Nurse launching a mobile medical IV therapy clinic and I am currently seeking a CA-licensed MD to serve as Medical Director. This is a remote oversight role, ideal for a physician interested in IV therapy, wellness medicine, or medical aesthetics who wants flexible involvement without daily operations. I am seeking a medical director who oversees the med spa remotely. Current Practice – Phase 1

• Mobile IV hydration therapy
• Vitamin & wellness injections (B12, MIC, glutathione, etc.)
• Telehealth-supported physician oversight

Planned Expansion – Phase 2

• Brick-and-mortar or micro-suite location
• Potential addition of aesthetic/wellness services
• Continued mobile services alongside physical location

Medical Director Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve medical protocols
• Availability for telehealth good-faith exams as required
• Consultation with staff via phone/email
• QA/QI and regulatory compliance support

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Flexible schedule with periodic on-site supervision or telemedicine consultations
• Availability for a monthly call
• Approximately 1-8 hours/month

Compensation

Compensation is negotiable based on time commitment and scope of responsibilities. Compensation can vary, offering $750-$1,500 per month. (Structured to grow as the practice expands)

This practice is being built thoughtfully, compliantly, and with long-term sustainability in mind, in coordination with healthcare legal counsel.
