Head of E-Commerce Solomon Page•Fairfield, CT
Our Connecticut-based client is seeking a Head of E-Commerce with P&L oversight who brings experience running a $25M+ business. Our client is seeking someone who understands the business needs for growth through development, gross margin accountability, and channel profitability. Their location is easily commutable from NYC by train and walkable to/from the station to the office. This is a hybrid role with two days per week in the office and three days remote.
- The salary range is $175-200,000 plus bonus based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead DTC eCommerce in all aspects of the P&L to meet and deliver DTC goals and objectives
- Develop a best-in class Customer Experience using data driven analytics – including site navigation and layout, content development, checkout funnel, etc.
- Partner cross-functionally with Inventory, Marketing, Sales, Product Development to deliver on company-wide objectives
- Manage the planning, QA, and execution of all eCommerce-related projects and activities
- Develop analytics processes to ensure data-driven decisions for all aspects of short and long-term DTC strategy
- Be the thought-leader in eCommerce best practices and identify new areas of opportunity, growth, efficiencies, etc.
- Perform a continuous and ongoing audit of our site effectiveness, areas of opportunity, and development to stay ahead of eCommerce market trends and deliver a best-in-class CX
- Manage external agencies within site development and site maintenance
- Partner with licensor to ensure that DTC site is operating within Company guidelines and all processes associated with approvals
- Develop the short and long-term strategic roadmap for Company’s website through understanding the right technological enhancements, UX/UI, design, and product structure
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing and SEO best practices
- Entrepreneurial spirit, customer-focused, strong team ethic, and honest with high integrity
- Organized and results‑oriented
- Strong communication skills and agile
- Should be fluent in Shopify
