Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Manager required for a valve manufacturer based in Long Island, New York.
The Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Manager will be responsible for producing technical quotations for manufacturing projects, developing and managing existing and new accounts in the federal, defence and naval sectors.
The Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Engineer will have experience working with a valve manufacturer, specifically within federal, defence, shipyard and naval sectors, and have experience operating on government portals.

Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Manager
Manage and grow U.S. Government, Navy, defense, and shipyard accounts
Monitor and respond to RFQs and procurement requests via government portals
Prepare and submit compliant technical quotations
Maintain and expand relationships within federal and defense sectors
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate proposals
Develop strategic growth plans for government sales channels
Ensure compliance with all applicable government procurement regulations
Prepare quotations for valve manufacturing projects, including isolation valves, gate valves, ESOV valves
Requirements for
Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Manager
Experience working as an Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Inside Sales Engineer for a valve / rotating equipment manufacturer
Experience producing technical quotations for valve / rotating equipment manufacturing, specifically for federal, defence, naval or shipyard projects
Live within a commutable distance to Long Island, New York
Experience selling industrial products, with preference to isolation valves, gate valves, ESOV valves and rotating equipment
Familiarity with ERP and government procurement systems
