HR Assistant/Recruitment Specialist
We are seeking an HR Assistant/Recruitment Specialist to join our team! You will perform activities in human resources from recruiting new hires to retaining existing hires. Responsibilities: Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees; full cycle recruitment activities Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards to attract top talent Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and onboarding activities Daily cold calling and inputting into a simple spreadsheet Implement company culture, values and policies Provide management with requested reports and documents Accurately maintain employee files Qualifications: Strong knowledge of human resources principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in cold calling techniques to source potential candidates Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields Knowledge of labor and employment laws Ability to build rapport with all employees and customers Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills 2 years experience preferred Our Commitment to Fair Hiring: HireQuest does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status, or other legally protected group status in making hiring or employment decisions.
