What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Execute analyses and conduct research to inform innovative solutions for clients’ complex challenges
Extract, clean, and analyze complex datasets using advanced SQL and Python skills
Collaborate with teams to build and refine predictive models for insurance rate recommendations
Draft written reports and prepare exhibits to communicate findings to various audiences
Undertake diverse research projects and maintain documentation for project tasks
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in actuarial science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
Minimum of two actuarial exams completed and in pursuit of a credential from the Casualty Actuarial Society
At least one relevant internship or up to four years of professional actuarial experience
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with strong skills in Python or R and SQL for data analysis
Must be a United States citizen with a primary residence in the continental United States
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with cloud-based data analysis tools
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
Working knowledge of databases
