Job Title: Video Editor

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality videos that showcase our salon, services, and products. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement video content for our website, social media platforms, and other marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for marketing purposes, including promotional videos, product demonstrations, and client testimonials
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with our brand and marketing goals
- Select and edit footage, add music, sound effects, and graphics to create visually appealing and engaging videos
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time and meet the company's standards for quality and branding
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our videos
- Manage and organize video files and maintain an organized video library
- Work closely with the team to ensure all videos accurately represent the salon's brand and image
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a marketing or advertising setting
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs
- Strong understanding of video production, including lighting, sound, and camera techniques
- Excellent storytelling and creative skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A portfolio of previous video editing work is required
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, with a 40-hour workweek, located at our salon in Los Angeles, California. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
