About the Opportunity
A well‑established commercial general contractor in the Miami area is seeking an experienced
Construction Superintendent
to oversee ground‑up and interior build‑out projects for
medical clinics and outpatient healthcare facilities . This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments and understands the unique requirements of healthcare construction.
Role Summary The Superintendent will manage all day‑to‑day site operations, ensure work meets quality and safety standards, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers throughout the full project lifecycle. The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, compliant medical spaces on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Direct all on‑site construction activities, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans.
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and daily jobsite logistics.
Conduct site walkthroughs, enforce safety protocols, and maintain required documentation.
Communicate progress and issues with project managers and stakeholders.
Review drawings and specifications; identify potential conflicts and recommend solutions.
Ensure all work meets healthcare facility standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain daily reports, logs, and progress documentation.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience
as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Demonstrated experience managing
medical clinic or healthcare facility
builds.
Strong understanding of healthcare MEP systems and specialized compliance requirements (AHCA experience is a plus).
Proven ability to lead diverse teams and maintain a safe, productive jobsite.
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
