Duties
Provide financial and commercial support to renewable energy projects of all stages across the Americas region.
Oversee project financial models and project economics to improve company decision-making and optimize economics and risks.
Provide strategic recommendations relating to renewable energy projects to prioritize throughout the portfolio.
Lead pricing, structuring, and risk assessment for third party revenue contracts on Americas projects.
Lead pricing, structuring, risk assessment, and execution of Affiliate Offtake contracts for Americas projects.
Work closely with Decision Support to provide finance and origination‑related input to approval requests.
Support Growth, Development, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) groups in assessing commercial viability of longer‑term strategic initiatives.
Support Americas Growth Strategy and other strategic working groups (i.e. Battery Storage, Utility Shortlisting, etc.).
Develop and instill commercial knowledge and a culture of commercial excellence throughout different functions/teams in the renewable energy business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or related field; plus 1 year of experience in job offered or as a financial analyst in renewable energy, private equity, or investment banking.
Knowledge of value drivers of renewable project economics, including tax equity financing structures, offtake structures, and equipment supply and service agreements.
Experience with project management and analytical and financial modeling.
