About the Role AmeriMex Drywall, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as an Entry‑Level Construction Estimator.
This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Smithfield, NC. This role is primarily office‑based and involves reviewing blueprints, performing material takeoffs, and preparing bid proposals for commercial drywall and metal framing projects.
We are willing to train the right candidate.

Relocation assistance is not provided
Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance

What You’ll Do
Review architectural drawings and specifications
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using estimating software
Prepare scopes of work and bid proposals
Communicate with General Contractors regarding scope questions
Attend occasional pre‑bid meetings and site visits
Follow up on submitted proposals
Most of your time will be spent working at a computer reviewing plans and building estimates.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
Organized and deadline‑oriented
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Willingness to learn construction drawings and estimating software
Ability to attend occasional site visits and pre‑bid meetings
Valid driver’s license
Preferred but not required
Construction industry experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates work ethic, focus, and commitment.
Schedule Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
