TITAN has an immediate opening with a client partner working at our client’s locations in Tualatin, OR. Qualified candidates will live within 50 miles of this office location. Contact TITAN today to see if this office is located near you. Candidate must work in the client’s office 5 days/week.
Job Summary
Supports engineering teams under general supervision
Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
Begins providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians
This role will be within the Distributed Infrastructure (Grid) solution group, supporting client needs related to underground transmission line projects
Basic Civil 3D experience is required with knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections.
Key Responsibilities
Stay current on applicable standards, systems, document control practices, departmental guides, and company policies and procedures
Apply knowledge of the company Quality Program to ensure accurate, compliant deliverables
Demonstrate strong attention to detail while supporting continuous improvement and change management initiatives
Use and expand applications and tools to evaluate and improve methods, processes, and procedures
Create and develop project deliverables based on a variety of design inputs
Perform basic computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
Coordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize errors and interferences
Support internal client needs while developing an understanding of external client priorities and drivers
Proactively seek out, share, and apply knowledge of new technologies and evolving processes
Skills Required
Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation
Development of plan and profile deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D
Basic Civil 3D experience with knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections
Education: Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate required
Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
Minimum Qualifications
Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience
