Position Summary The Marketing & Practice Relations Specialist supports the strategic growth of our oral surgery practices by leading all marketing, branding, and referral engagement initiatives. This role partners closely with the Regional Director of Operations, Regional Market & Development Specialist, Practice Leader, and Surgeons to drive patient volume through referral marketing, digital engagement, and community outreach efforts. This position is responsible for both strategic planning and hands‑on execution, ensuring all marketing initiatives align with the company’s mission, values, and growth objectives.
Essential Functions
Lead and manage all aspects of marketing, including referral outreach, digital campaigns, CE events, study clubs, and content development.
Develop and execute localized marketing strategies aligned with practice growth goals.
Identify and implement opportunities to support year‑over‑year consult growth and expansion into new markets.
Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and campaigns.
Referral & Relationship Development
Plan and conduct referral visits to strengthen and expand referral relationships.
Coordinate and execute continuing education (CE) events, study clubs, and referral engagement initiatives.
Build and maintain partnerships with local representatives to support sponsorships, event planning, and community outreach.
Digital & Content Management
Develop and manage social media and digital content calendars.
Prepare and distribute digital and print marketing materials.
Design collateral using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
Partner with SEO, CRM, and website vendors to ensure strong online visibility.
Monitor online review platforms (Google, Healthgrades, Yelp) and elevate feedback as needed.
Reporting & Communication
Provide monthly reports on:
Marketing initiatives
Referral performance
Campaign ROI
Strategic growth plans
Maintain regular communication with surgeons, practice leaders, regional directors, and administrative teams.
Attend and actively participate in leadership calls and meetings.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Highschool diploma or equivalent – required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field — required
Experience:
2–5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
Experience in a healthcare or medical practice environment — preferred
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy compliance in marketing communications — required or must be obtained upon hire
Performance Requirements Skills/Abilities:
Strong creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills.
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing strategies, and basic SEO principles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Comfortable with public speaking and event coordination.
Willingness to travel locally and overnight as needed to support adjacent markets.
