Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality and engaging video content for our online platforms, including social media, website, and promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished final product, ensuring the highest quality standards are met
Work closely with the creative team to understand project objectives and deliver videos that align with our brand's vision and style
Utilize various editing techniques, including color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics, to enhance the overall quality of the videos
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our videos
Manage and organize video files and assets to ensure efficient workflow and easy access for future projects
Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Continuously communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient video production process
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound recording
Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work is required
