Jr. Architectural Draft and Designer

The Junior Architectural Drafter & Designer plays a key support role within the Major Projects Team, contributing to the development of architectural drawings and construction documentation. This position requires a strong foundation in technical drafting and design, with proficiency in CAD software and a keen attention to detail. The role involves assisting senior designers with drawing production, performing field as-builts, and preparing accurate and organized drawing sets.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities The primary job duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Conduct site visits and create accurate as-built drawings
Set up drawing sheets and organize plan sets
Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
Incorporate redline markups from senior staff or consultants
Print and assemble drawing sets for internal and external use
Minimum Qualifications Listed below are the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform this role. These qualifications are necessary for someone to be considered for this position.
Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field
Strong background in CAD software, AutoCAD required; REVIT a plus
Solid understanding of architectural drafting standards and techniques
Essential Physical Job Functions (with or without accommodation)
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Positive, proactive attitude and a collaborative team mindset
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
