
The Opportunity
As a Retail/Mortgage Loan Assistant, you’ll play a key role and work closely with the team to deliver exceptional service and ensure a smooth, accurate, and efficient experience for every customer. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help maintain compliance, strengthen customer relationships, and support the success of our lending team.
Count On To
Process and Activate loans to Navigator as assigned.
Prepare mortgage releases/title lien releases/track titles.
Manage escrow account payments and analysis for taxes and insurance.
File Maintenance/Tickler updates.
Use LaserPro to produce loan documents.
Process cash advances/loan payments.
Assist customers with loan advances and payoffs.
CIP, Onboard Advisor for new loan customers.
Assist loan officers with underwriting consumer loans and pulling credit reports.
Review real estate files for final documents.
Answer bank phone line in prompt, friendly manner
Mail and review daily loan notices and track past due loans.
Scan and complete digital files.
Knowledge and Skills
Education: One year of college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiar with loan processing software (e.g., Navigator, LaserPro); skilled in managing digital filing systems.
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, strong communication and customer service abilities; collaborative team player; problem-solving skills.
Other: Sound judgment, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to take on additional duties.
