We’re hiring: In-Studio Content Creator (Photo + Video) | Brooklyn, NY (On-site)
JOYC builds design-forward product brands across categories like TINKR (modern toolkits + DIY) and Mahjong. We’re looking for a hands-on creator who can constantly produce high-quality studio content that feels elevated, modern, and conversion-minded.
You’ll be in our Brooklyn office working out of our small studio, collaborating closely with our Founder, Head of Growth, and Design Team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow into a Content Director.
Salary: $65,000 (with real room to grow)
What you’ll be creatingProduct photography (studio + editorial) and lifestyle content
Short-form video for social, ads, email, and site
Content for packaging, PDPs, Amazon, campaigns, and brand storytelling
Variations and iterations (we want fresh creative constantly)
What you’ll ownShooting, lighting, styling, and set-building in our studio
Editing, exporting, organizing, and delivering assets on time
Light production planning (shot lists, weekly priorities, timelines)
Using AI tools to speed up and enhance workflow (retouching, backgrounds, motion, ideation)
Collaborating with our design team to turn content into collateral
You might be a fit if you…Have a strong portfolio in beauty, wellness, health, home goods, tech, or lifestyle products
Know what “good” looks like and you’re social-first and trend-aware
Can communicate and collaborate with other department stakeholders
Understand what content converts (and you’re curious about performance)
Are organized, reliable, and communicate clearly
Can move fast without losing taste
Bonus pointsExperience creating content optimized for Meta/TikTok ads and PDP conversion
Experience with AI-assisted workflows (Adobe AI, Runway, etc.)
You love building repeatable systems for creative production
