Position: Video Editor
The Salon Hype is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, visually appealing videos that will be used for various marketing and promotional purposes.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into engaging and professional videos that align with the company's brand and vision
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project objectives and deliver videos that meet their requirements
Utilize video editing software and other tools to enhance the quality of the videos
Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the overall impact of the videos
Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and meet the necessary technical specifications
Continuously stay updated on industry trends and techniques to ensure the videos are cutting-edge and visually appealing
Manage and organize all video files and footage to ensure easy access and retrieval
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new video ideas and concepts
Ensure all videos adhere to copyright laws and obtain necessary permissions for any copyrighted material used
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role
Strong portfolio showcasing previous video projects and technical skills
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs
Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
Knowledge of copyright laws and permissions for using copyrighted material in videos
