Purpose Consistent with the credit union mission of providing our members the right financial services to live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the Contract Instructional Designer will: design, develop, and implement scalable learning content that drives consistent knowledge, skill development, and operational excellence across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities Instructional Design & Development

Develop high-quality training programs following the ADDIE model, focused on AmeriCU‑specific systems, processes, and operational requirements.

Create and enhance eLearning modules, interactive content, and multimedia learning experiences using Articulate 360 tools (Storyline, Rise).

Record, edit, and produce instructional training videos to support microlearning, systems training, and scenario‑based learning.

Apply adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and user experience (UX) best practices across all deliverables.

Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and project teams to gather requirements, validate content, and incorporate feedback to continuously improve learning solutions.

Deploy courses and curricula through the organization’s learning technologies, including uploading, organizing, tagging, testing, and publishing learning objects in the Learning Management System (LMS).

Ensure learning assets are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align to brand, tone, and instructional expectations.

Deliverables

3 interactive eLearning modules

End‑to‑end design and development in Articulate Rise 360

Integration of multimedia assets, including video, audio, and graphics

Modules must align to AmeriCU branding, learning standards, and the ADDIE model

20 instructional training videos

Scriptwriting based on SME interviews, existing materials, or system workflows

Filming, screen capture recording, and content sequencing

Video editing using TechSmith Camtasia

AI voiceover production using TechSmith Audiate

Integration of finalized videos into the eLearning modules as supporting assets

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of instructional design experience supporting adult learners.

Demonstrated experience designing and developing interactive eLearning, multimedia content, and blended learning programs.

Experience working with SMEs and cross‑functional partners.

Software Requirements: Designer must possess the following licenses, Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia and Audiate.

Communication: Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational and analytical skills.

Organization: Must display ability to self‑direct and have excellent organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, TechSmith Camtasia/SnagIt/Audiate, and Canva.

Ability to quickly learn and design training around enterprise systems (e.g., Symitar, MeridianLink, Salesforce).
