Position Overview

Do you have aspirations to run your own business? If so, you may want to consider working in the office of Jack Martin - State Farm Agent. As a member of our agency team, you will have the opportunity to experience firsthand what it takes to be a State Farm Agent. Your responsibilities include building and developing customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products such as auto, home, and life insurance. This position provides a valuable experience working in an agent's office and exploring the possibility of becoming a State Farm agent yourself.

Responsibilities

Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Establish and maintain customer relationships, follow up as needed.

Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.

Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each day.

Adapt skills necessary to operate a business.

As an Agent Team Member, you will receive:

Hourly pay plus commission/bonus.

Training in marketing property/casualty, life, health, banking, and mutual fund products.

Setting sales and growth goals.

Working closely with the agent to understand the role and office logistics.

Learning effective networking skills.
