Summer Program Dates
Summer program dates are June 8, 2026 - July 24, 2026; Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.
Training Dates Training dates are June 1, 2026 - June 5, 2026, various times and locations.
Responsibilities Demonstrates quality leadership by stimulating interest in the recreation leaders and aides for whom they are responsible. Directors will be actively involved with planning, instructing, daily curriculum and all recreational activities with leaders and aides. Directors will be a positive role model in mentoring staff; enforce applicable program rules and regulations; and perform other related duties as required.
Training & Experience
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, physical education or recreation
Any equivalent combination of training and experience in youth programming (present or submit evidence of training or experience, e.g., official transcript, diploma, or resume, with references.)
TB Clearance (Prior to Interview)
Vehicle & License Requirement Must have a vehicle and a valid motor vehicle driver's license (equivalent to State of Hawaii Type 3).
