About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President for Development and Donor Engagement. The successful candidate will be a seasoned fundraising leader with a strong background in principal, major gifts, annual fund, and donor-advised fund/special initiatives fundraising. This role is pivotal in enabling a world-class donor experience, and the VP will be responsible for the strategic design and execution of sophisticated cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies. Key priorities include establishing new gifts, stewarding current and prospective donors, and implementing planned giving initiatives. The VP will also manage a team of fundraising professionals, philanthropic advisors, and administrative staff, ensuring the team meets its fundraising goals and upholds the company's customer service standards.
Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in senior-level fundraising and gift planning, with a proven track record of securing significant gifts. The role requires a deep understanding of issues facing underserved communities and the ability to articulate these to a diverse set of donors.
