Estimating Engineer/Cost Estimator

We are a precision manufacturing company seeking a detail-oriented Estimating Engineer to support RFQ activities and cost analysis. This role is responsible for developing accurate manufacturing cost models and competitive selling prices while ensuring production feasibility and margin objectives are met.
Responsibilities
Review customer RFQs, drawings, and specifications Develop cost estimates including material, labor, tooling, outside processing, and overhead Recommend selling prices aligned with margin goals Analyze historical quote data for consistency Perform capacity analysis Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production Control, and Customer Service Respond to time sensitive customer requests Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred Manufacturing and estimating experience preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and communication skills
