Role Overview
We are seeking a
Job Placement Specialist
(entry level, $50k/year). When one of our workers' compensation are unable to return to their previous employer, y ou will work one on one with them and guide/train them through the job search process . This is a highly independent role for someone who takes initiative, manages their own schedule, and enjoys helping others. We train! What You Will Do
Provide one on one job search coaching and support Teach job seeking skills, including cold calling and professional phone etiquette Assist clients with job applications Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback Train clients on job search websites and tools Write and edit professional resumes, cover letters, and correspondence Research labor market information and assist with labor market surveys Track client progress and prepare clear, professional reports Travel throughout Minnesota for in person client meetings using your own vehicle What Makes Someone Successful in This Role
Strong writing and communication skills Excellent organization and follow through Ability to work independently and manage deadlines without close supervision Confident working with a variety of personalities, including clients who may be hesitant about job search Problem solving mindset and ability to stay solution focused Comfortable balancing flexibility with accountability Qualifications
Experience with job search processes, recruiting, coaching, or related work is helpful Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel statewide We provide training for the right person.
